Day 1- Great Barrier Reef Cruise to Moores Reef
Travelling by luxury fast air conditioned catamaran from Cairns to the Moores Reef observation pontoon a magical day awaits in one of the most iconic of Australian experiences. Spend 4.5 hours at the reef getting up close and personal with more than 10,000 of its diverse inhabitants. Snorkelling is available and a glass bottomed boat or semi submersible observation point will enthral everyone. Why not try an introductory scuba dive with full instruction to experience the magical underwater world. This is a truly memorable visit for anyone to North Queensland.
Day 2 Kuranda Rainforest Tour
Take the Kuranda Scenic Railway as it passes cover 40 bridges and 15 tunnels through stunning scenery. Spend some time in the heritage village exploring the markets and shops in the rainforest centre.
Travel deep into the Rainforestation National Park by army duck and view the hosts of exotic flora and fauna. With a captivating welcome by the Aborigine Pamagirri dancers performing traditional dances and the opportunity to lean boomerang throwing, spear throwing and digeridoo playing there is something for everyone on this memorable experience. Enjoy a barbecue lunch with refreshing tropical fruits. Then visit the Koala and Wildlife Park and take a guided tour to see cassowaries, crocodiles, dingoes, wombats, and hand feed the baby kangaroos and wallabies.
As the grand finale to a wonderful day you will join Skyrail and glide over the roof of the tropical rainforest in a six person gondola learning about this diverse and fascinating environment. Stop at Barron Falls and Red Peak Stations on the way back to Cairns.
