Michaelmas Cay Cruise

Visit a coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef where there is so much to see

Michaelmas Cay is a National Park and a low lying vegetated sand cay surrounded by coral reef. It is also a sanctuary for migratory sea birds. This cruise to the Michaelmas Cay offers a wide range of activities during the four hour stay. Snorkel over the reef or take a guided snorkelling tour with a marine biologist. Why not take an introductory scuba dive to see the kaleidoscope of colour in and around the reef. A semi submersible observation point enables non swimmers to appreciate the beauty beneath the waves, or take a guided bird tour.
With a sumptuous and refreshing buffet lunch and time to relax this will be a holiday experience to cherish as you sip a glass of champagne on the journey back to Cairns.

Four full hours on the reef, air conditioned coach transfers from your hotel (City & Cairns beaches), reef tax, morning refreshments, hot & cold buffet, afternoon tea, informative semi-submersible tours, guided bird tours,  snorkelling demonstrations and tuition, use of all snorkelling equipment, use of flotation vests, informative ecological presentations by our Marine Biologist, a complimentary glass of champagne.
