A whole day at two locations on the Outer Great Barrier Reef
This trip leaves from Cairns Marlin Marina and will take you by fast air conditioned catamaran to two platform locations on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy a reef presentation and a snorkelling demonstration in preparation for the days activities.
Yu have a choice of snorkelling or viewing the marine life from a glass bottomed boat ($12 to do both). The kaleidoscope of colours and the variety of fish will astound and enthral you as you glimpse a different world. This excursion allows five hours of snorkelling time at two locations.
The ideal way to get closer to the reef and the marine life is to take an introductory try dive under full instruction from one of the trained personnel on the pontoons. You may find yourself wanting to learn more about the sport when you see the world beneath the waves. You may simply choose to just relax on the sundeck. A sumptuous buffet lunch is one of the highlights of the trip.
